MY
STORY
I have been a hairdresser for 12 years. After completing my Sassoon training and working at different salons across London I decided to move to Amsterdam 8 years ago. Originally I was interested in studying fashion, specialising in embroidery/beading but I knew I would miss the social elements while working tucked away in a studio.

My interest in hair came after watching my sister (a hairdresser) at work. I soon realised this could be the perfect profession to express my creativity and at the same time work in a social and fun environment.

What I love most is working with natural pallets, being creative with classic shapes by modernising them. I get inspired by people's characters, social media and by the places I’ve travelled too.

Besides work, I love to cook, find new places to eat, long-distance running and analogue photography. Looking through a lens with no digital preview makes me draw on part of my creative mind in a completely different way, which benefits my never-ending inspiration in salon The Window Amsterdam, where I work as a freelance hairstylist.
